This shoe worked well, however, I found that it would not shine and it showed the scuff marks even though you polished the shoes. I bought three pairs of these shoes for my kids and a friend's child and we all have the same complaint. It could be we received a bad batch or something but these shoes were not what I was expecting from the Hush Puppies brand. The last time I bought the Sperry Top-siders and this shoes was not bad either but we wanted to try the Hush Puppies brand.My child is a solid 11.5 in shoes, but these were simply much too small and had to exchange them to a 12.5 so they could fit. The exchange went smoothly and the new size came in right away so it was nothing more than a slight inconvenience. The shoes themselves are beautifully made, and are very cushioned inside so they are made for comfort. They're very good shoes- just size up!I bought this for my very active 3 years old to go to school. I am unsur that it will hold the entire year. It has gotten larger and already has scuff marks. It is okay, but not s great buy. I would get something else it I had to buy it.it was hard at 1st trying to find shoes for me autistic son due to the fact that he cant tie laces ad yet when i found these i said thank god comfortable material strong had them from september last year and they are still standing like brand newThese were purchased for a wedding and I was skeptical buying them online. They are true to size and actually look way better in person than the picture. Not one complaint about his feet hurting after 8 hours with them on. Awesome price and great quality.gifted the shoe to my 3yr old grandson, shoe fits and he loves wearing them.he wears them to pre school twice a week.The fact that you can change the insoles to accommodate your fit/width is the key to happiness for my son!!!!! They lasted the whole school year last year and I just bought another for this September. They are true to size and I didn't have to worry about the width. PERFECTION!!!!!!It's a very nice shoe but the size was a bit bigger than other shoe of that type.This are very very nice and cut shoes.
