You can just feel the good quality of this vest. It feels like I'm wearing a fire fighter's vest. Thank you!I am very fond of Carhartt jackets and this vest is my first one with Quick Duck canvas and it does feel lighter than the traditional sandstone duck. Despite the weight difference, the quality and the durability stills seems to be there. It still hasn’t rained in my area but this will be sufficient for light rain since it is water repellent. Also, this jacket is warm so it will be great for wear in light winters. One thing that I do not like about this vest is the sizing. Like all other Carhartt, they are always off with their sizing and they all seem to be too big, bulky, and boxy. Therefore, make sure to size down when you are ordering but definitely double check your chest size as well.It was time to replace my husband’s last vest and he is very pleased! His is a JL and in sleeves all day so the vest works perfectly!
